Clearing Fee Holiday for the El-Certificates market

On December 16^th 2011 NOS announced the launch of the new multi-currency clearing and settlement service for the joint Swedish-Norwegian El-Certificates (Elcert) market . 

We are glad to see a positive response from the market with a fast growing client base and several cross-border trades already executed. To celebrate this and the start of the new market NOS now offers a Fee Holiday for El-Certificates forwards cleared in Q1 2012.

The Fee Holiday will cover all forward contracts executed and cleared in the period from January 2^nd until March 30^th 2012. There will be no clearing fee charged in this period. In addition, no clearing fees will be charged to legacy trades submitted to NOS in the same period. Delivery fee terms remain unchanged.

By the end of the Fee Holiday period a volume incentives model will be introduced.
