First cleared TD3 USD per ton contract

NOS is pleased to announce the launch of more fixed USD per ton contracts this week. You can now clear TC2 and TD3 in USD per ton with NOS. The first TD3 trade has been cleared this week and several TC2 contracts have been cleared since the launch in March.

NOS is following the developments in the market regarding the new fixed USD per ton tanker contracts and has been approached by several brokers and counterparts who want a cleared USD per ton contract. We started clearing the TC2 and TD3 contracts, but if there is a need we can easily expand the service to include any of the tanker routes currently cleared in WS.

• The Spot Price is in USD and is calculated based on the Baltic Exchange spot price in Worldscale points multiplied by the prevailing flatrate.

• The Closing Price is in USD and is calculated based on the Worldscale Closing Price for the corresponding future product quoted in WS, multiplied with the estimated flatrate for the Delivery Period in question.
