NOS reduces clearing fees on Dry Freight Products

Clear Cape FFAs for 3.60 USD with NOS Clearing

NOS Clearing ASA (NOS) introduces a new fee schedule for the dry freight market. With the new schedule, our highly valued services and systems are accompanied by the most competitive clearing fees.

As of today, the clearing fee schedule for the dry freight market is as follows:

• The clearing fee for Cape FFAs is reduced to 12 US dollars per lot
• Spreads and option strategies are discounted by 50%
• Full size FFA deals are discounted by 50%
• Monthly volume discount up to 40%

In order to encourage large FFA clips, NOS introduces a 50% rebate on full size calendars, half years and quarter trades. The spread rebate is changed to 50% and the option strategy rebate of 50% is continued.

In addition, NOS introduces a monthly volume discount scheme where the discount increases stepwise up to 40% on volumes above threshold. The active trader may clear Cape FFAs for as little as 3 dollars and 60 cents per lot. This is by far the lowest clearing fee in the dry market and a proof of our support to the liquidity providers.

The Panamax, Supra and Handy segments are included.
