TC12 Available for Clearing

NOS Clearing is pleased to announce that the Baltic assessed TC12 route (West Coast India to Japan) will be available for clearing on Tuesday 1 March 2011.

NOS will introduce clearing for both future and option contracts, settled against spot prices (Worldscale points) published by the Baltic Exchange. The product structure includes 6 monthly contracts, 6 quarterly contracts and 2 calendar contracts ahead.

All Clearing Members with a USD margin account will have immediate access to the new TC12 contract.

Full Product Specification is available in Appendix 5, annex 5A and 5F, to the Rulebook. NOS has also released a Rulebook Notice 03/2011, describing the changes made to Appendix 5.
