How to become a member
To apply for a Direct Membership or General Clearer Membership with NOS you need to complete the following forms and agreements common to all markets:
In addition the following market specific documentation needs to be completed:
| El-Certificates | Collateral and Settlement Account Agreement Non-cash Collateral and Settlement Agreement |
| Freight | USD Collateral and Settlement Account Agreement One of the following tax forms to open the account in DnBNOR, NY : W-9 tax form for US entities |
| UK Gas | Collateral and Settlement Account Agreement |
| Seafood | Collateral and Settlement Account Agreement |
You will also need to supply:
- Certificate of Incorporation of the Applicant company
- Latest available audited financial statements
- An authorised signature list
Membership criterias
- Net capital of equal to EUR 1 million
- Based in a jurisdiction approved by NOS
- Audited financial statements
- Information regarding ownership, members of the board, financial information, etc
- Experience/knowledge in trading and risk management
When receiving the membership papers and documentation, NOS will process the application in the Membership Committee. This process should take no longer than a couple of weeks, providing all the relevant paperwork is in place.
